Futinvest is a reality game based on the 2010 World Cup, where participants could experience all the thrills of stock exchange, buying and selling stocks of the 32 teams using a fictional currency. The promo gave away various prizes to the winners, like a Smart car and two Vespas.
The main goal of the project was to position BanifInvest's home broker operation and highlight the ease of stock investments to the public.
Interaction occurred through the online platform, custom developed for this campaign, and through a mobile application, where users could perform transactions anywhere.
A partnership with ESPN Networks was established, that acted not only as a media channel for this project, but as an integrated factor to the game's operation. All of ESPN's team and content channels, like blogs, twitters, website and TV, broadcasted commentaries, updates and real information about the World Cup, bringing reality into the game.
Aside from ESPN, the project had an exclusive channel with tips and information about the stock market to the more layman public, fed by BM&F Bovespa.
Complementary media channels, like paid cable (Bloomberg, Fx, ESPN), and below the line stunts and prints in pubs and restaurants helped propagate the campaign.
Over 10 million people were reached through the campaign, in which 15 thousand were participants in the game with an average length of interaction of 30 minutes per day per user.
